In the process, the Hitman recorded new milestones in his glittering cricketing career.

18th century support for the first wicket: Rohit and Dhawan managed 114 points in the first ODI against England. In the process, they landed their 18th stand of 100 runs in ODI cricket. This feat puts them third in the list of most 100-run stands in ODI cricket history. The list is led by Tendulkar and Ganguly who have 26 such stalls to their name.
